
[NEWS RELEASE] Tampa, FL - January 5, 2010. The Tampa Latin Chamber (TLC) welcomes Denise Shreaves of the Florida State Fair Authority to speak at its next luncheon on Tuesday, January 26th at the Doubletree Hotel at 4500 West Cypress Street in Tampa.

As Manager of Marketing and Public Relations, Denise Shreaves is responsible for communicating with the media and the public to increase awareness about the Fair Authority as a non-profit organization and the annual Florida State Fair. Mrs. Shreaves will speak about the upcoming 2010 Fair’s plans as it pertains to the World Village area which will include entertainment acts with an international flair and foods of Hispanic or African- American origin. As part of its educational mission, The Fair Authority aims to engage all audiences by honoring Hispanic and African-American leaders, showcasing historical contributions and cultural relevance to the community. As a fun reward for those who have done their Fair homework, guests who answer some Fair trivia questions will win free admission tickets to the Fair good for any day in February.
Networking and registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the lunch program starts at 12 p.m. The event cost is $25 for Chamber members or $30 for non-members and guests paying at the door. Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee a seat and meal at the event. TLC’s monthly lunch meetings are scheduled for the LAST TUESDAY of each month except in December. The 2010 TLC yearly membership cost is $150 for individuals and corporate membership pricing is $300.
